People

The Adult Cognition Lab is looking for help from adults between the ages of 60-75 to participate in our research studies. It is through the generosity and input of volunteers that we are able to gain valuable insight into ways of helping people learn and solve problems more effectively.  You do not need any prior experience with computers or a particular educational background. You just need to be between the ages of 60-75 and in reasonably good health! Besides the money we will pay you for your time, we sincerely hope that you will enjoy your experience as a research participant. If you know other individuals who might be interested in participating, please have them contact us.

If you are interested in participating, and have not yet contacted us by telephone, you can provide us with your information in an email. Just send an email to: adult.cognition@uncg.edu, including the following information. We look forward to hearing from you!

1) First and last name
2) Birthdate (day, month, and year)
3) Phone number and Mailing address
4) Email address (if used frequently)
5) Gender
6) Highest level of education completed (if you’ve completed some coursework toward a degree, describe it)
7) Do you have any uncorrected vision problems that keep you from reading newspaper size print?
8) Are you currently taking any medications that make you drowsy?
9) Do you have any problems (such as arthritis) that may make it difficult to write or use a computer keyboard?
10) When is the best time for you to come in for participation?
11) Do you have transportation to get to our facilities?
12) Is there any additional information you would like up to know about you?
