College of Arts and Sciences Foreign Language Proficiency
Writing Intensive & Speaking Intensive Markers — Major
Comprehensive Articulation is awarded to students who have earned an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from a North Carolina community college, or have met all General Education Core requirements, within the period covered by the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement. All requirements must be satisfied with a grade of C or above. Students who have not been awarded Comprehensive Articulation must meet all College of Arts and Sciences General Education Core Requirements with initial transfer credit, courses taken from UNCG, or credit transferred subsequent to admission.
College of Arts & Sciences General Education Core Requirements (GEC+CAR)
Markers (combined with courses above)
Marker requirements are waived incrementally, based upon initial transfer credit to UNCG. Students receiving 60 to 90 semester credits for coursework transferred prior to matriculation at UNCG will be granted waivers for 2 GL markers, 2 WI markers and 1 SI marker.
Students enrolled at UNCG prior to 2001, who have not qualified for Comprehensive Articulation, may be under College of Arts and Sciences Liberal Education Requirements (CLER).
