Looking Up Your Degree Evaluation

It is the student's responsibility to meet all degree requirements before graduation from UNCG, and your degree evaluation is your most valuable tool for curriculum planning. If you started at UNCG after August of 2001, you can track your degree progress with an on-demand, automated CAPP Degree Evaluation.*

Admitted BLS Majors:

  • Access UNCGenie in the upper right corner of the UNCG homepage.
  • Click Enter Secure Area and log on with your Student ID number and PIN.
  • Click Student Services and Financial Aid.
  • Click Student Records.
  • Click Degree Evaluation (halfway down the screen).
  • Select the current term and press Submit.
  • Click Generate New Evaluation (bottom of screen).
  • Activate the radio button beside Program and click Generate Request.
  • Wait (this can take a few seconds).
  • Select Detail Requirements and click Submit.

The resulting page will show your courses and how they fill the degree requirements.

This PDF document will help you interpret the CAPP Degree Evaluation.

Non-BLS Majors — "What-If" Analysis:

  • Access UNCGenie in the upper right corner of the UNCG homepage.
  • Click Enter Secure Area and log on with your Student ID number and PIN.
  • Click Student Services and Financial Aid.
  • Click Student Records.
  • Click Degree Evaluation (halfway down the screen).
  • Select the current term and press Submit.
  • Click What-If Analysis (bottom of screen).
  • Select entry term (the upcoming term) and click Continue.
  • Select Program: BA in Arts & Sciences and click Continue.
  • Select First Major: Special Programs and Department: Special Programs and click Add More.
  • Select Concentration 1: Humanities and click Submit.
  • Click Generate Request.
  • Wait (this can take a few seconds).
  • Select Detail Requirements and click Submit.

The resulting page will show your courses and how they would fill the BLS degree requirements.

* If you took UNCG courses prior to Fall 2001, or if you have transfer credit that was accepted prior to Fall 2001, the CAPP evaluation will not accurately distribute your coursework into the appropriate degree requirements. You may request one paper degree audit per academic year by filling out this online form. Select Humanities (BA) as your major. If you will not be able to pick up the audit at UNCG, place the words "Please mail" and your mailing address in the Comments box.
