Research Skills Tutorial
Sharpen your research skills and improve your grades.
All students must maintain a Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or above.
Students who fall below 2.00 will be placed on academic probation.
Failure to meet the conditions of academic probation will result in
Academic Suspension and/or Academic Dismissal.
Participate in the Student Academic Success Program
Students who are on academic probation must enroll in SAS 100 during the next semester. Failure to participate in the program or meet any condition of the program will result in immediate academic suspension. SAS 100 is offered online for distance-learning students; Contact Student Academic Services at 336.334.5730 to enroll.
Maintain Semester GPA of 2.30 or Higher
You must maintain a semester GPA of 2.30 (C+) or higher for each semester you are on probation. An individual grade may be lower than C+, but the average must be higher. Failure to maintain a semester GPA of 2.30 or higher while on academic probation will result in academic suspension and/or academic dismissal.
Enrollment Limit: 12 Credits per Semester
While on academic probation, you may not enroll in more than 12 credits per semester or 4 credits per summer session. Do not enroll in more than six credits per half-semester session.
