Course Proposal Models
Below are some course proposal models to aide faculty. These proposals were approved by C&T and UCC the first time they were submitted for review.
Please note: some items require the Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader, which can be downloaded from the Adobe web site.
Tips:
- For 500 level courses, the syllabus should explicitly differentiate for grads and undergrads: assignments, requirements, and evaluations. Instructors may choose to do two separate syllabi.
- Make sure to include information about grading (the attendance policy, weighting of the grading of assignments). List specific bibliographic references for texts. If a specific version of a text isn't required, include a brief statement to that effect.
- View syllabus templates from the Curriculum Guide.
