Casey Thomas is the Program Coordinator for the African American Studies Program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She graduated from Guilford College with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Anthropology and minored in Religious Studies. As an Americorps ACCESS member at FaithAction International House, she served as Special Projects Coordinator through UNCG's Center for New North Carolinians. She then worked at INTERLINK Language Center, coordinating co-curricular activities for English as a Second Language students and administrative processes at the center. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her interests include food justice and immigrant and minority health.
