Alumni House Reservation/Inquiry Request

The Alumni House is unlike other buildings on the UNCG campus. It is a home, not an institutional structure. Throughout its history, the Alumni House has served as a central gathering place for alumni, students, faculty and staff of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

The Alumni House is available for rental for a variety of functions. A variety of room set ups are available for each event. From sit down dinners, to wine tasting events, to retirement receptions and graduation parties, the UNCG Alumni House is the perfect setting for your next special event. The Virginia Dare Room is the ideal setting for an intimate wedding, wedding reception or rehearsal dinner. Both inside the Alumni House and in the Secretary's Garden, Memorial Garden, and adjacent Taylor Garden, there are a number of picturesque spots ideal for photographs of your special event.


  • Reservations for rooms in the Alumni House must be made at least 24 hours in advance via this form. You will receive confirmation via email once your reservation has been processed.
  • Reservations are first come, first reserved/confirmed. Availability cannot be guaranteed.
  • Reservations requests will be responded to within 24 hours or the next business day if the request is submitted during the weekend.


  • Virginia Dare is an elegant room providing a magnificent setting for:

    • Recital
    • Wedding Ceremony (max. 150 persons)
    • Wedding Reception Only (max. 200 persons)
