When entering a new field, it is important to find out who the major leaders are, what are the major institutions, organizations, and associations and what is the history of the field. Below is a list of leaders, institutions, organizations, associations, activities, and issues or concerns representing a knowledge base that should be “common knowledge” to any Art Educator in North Carolina.
