Description
Art 367: (3:2:2).
An introduction to the theoretical and philosophical foundations for
Art Education (birth to middle school), including hands-on experience with
school art media. Not open to Art Education majors. Pr. junior standing.
Objectives/
Goals
1.To develop an understanding of the theory and practice of Art Education
for children aged birth to middle school.
2.To understand and practice appropriate curriculum and teaching
methods for
studio, art history, criticism, and aesthetics
3.To develop appropriate professional awareness, philosophy and
attitudes
