Topic:  Technological Odyssey: Credit: 10%

Topics to Address
 

 a. Reflect on the technological developments of your working life;  how has your classroom (or school) changed in terms of the technology that you were expected to know and be able to use?   What items that you first learned and applied are considered to be obsolete today?

 b. "Soft ware" (that is the content materials that you used with various kinds equipment) becomes obsolete or "dated" as well;  how difficulty have you found it to keep current resources handy in your classroom (or school).  What kinds of support materials have the longest "shelf life" that you use in teaching?

 c. What new resources (or technology) do you find the most exciting?   What ways do you see newer technology becoming a part of your daily work life?  What new technology items in the classroom become both blessing or bother?

d.  What experiences have you had in terms of "catch up" and "keep up" in learning and applying newer technologies?  Is the fact that technology CEUs are mandated helpful or challenging?
