The Gatewood Studio Art Center Gallery is focused on providing the UNCG art department with a professional contemporary art venue for the regular exhibition of undergraduate and graduate student work, shows of work by faculty and visiting artists, and special exhibitions that further the educational mission of the Art Department within the University

The Visionary Workbook
The Visionary Workbook is the third and final volume of Exquisite History, a project started in 2001 by an international collective known as The Printmakers Left. Ever evolving, the group is typically composed of roughly twenty or thirty artists and poets from Virginia, California, Ohio, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, and Finland.
January 22 - February 20
Emily Orzech uses a combination of printmaking and digital techniques to explore the ways in which people inhabit changing urban spaces. Her current series, Translated Cities, comes out of repeated trips to China, including more than a year on a Fulbright Fellowship. She is also working on a series about the post-industrial American landscape. She is currently an assistant professor at Muhlenberg College.
