As a new media artist, Dickie Cox uses moving image, sound, text, and physical computing to sketch and montage narratives exploring time, consciousness, memory, relationships, and the paranormal. His work has been presented at the Athens Institute for Contemporary Art, the Anderson Gallery, the New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase, Sprockets Music Video Festival, and the AUX: Experimental Arts Festival. As an academic technology generalist, he has served as an institutional director for the Consortium of College & University Media Centers and as a member of the EDUCAUSE Southeast Regional Conference Program Committee.  He received his MFA and BGS from Virginia Commonwealth University.
