Finance Resources and Links

UNCG offers a B.S. in Finance. The Finance major involves learning how wealth is created, stored, protected, received, distributed, and generally managed. Study in this area focuses on financial markets, financial institutions and corporate finance, although students frequently seek employment in related areas of insurance and real estate. Students often choose to double major in Accounting and Finance. For more information on the Finance major, contact Dr. Daniel Winkler, Room 342 of the Bryan Building, at (336) 256-0122 or by e-mail (dt_winkler@uncg.edu). Visit the department’s web page at: http://www.uncg.edu/bae/acc
