An MS in Accounting from the Bryan School of Business and Economics paves the way for tremendous professional success. In addition to outstanding academic preparation and firsthand experience, you will satisfy the 150-hour educational requirement adopted by a number of states, including North Carolina, for certification and licensure as a CPA. Our graduates perform very well both on the exam and in positions throughout their careers in public accounting, industry, government and not-for-profit organizations. Gain acceptance with an undergraduate degree in any major
We’re looking for driven, highly qualified students, but we don’t limit acceptances to students with accounting and business degrees. No matter what your undergraduate degree is in —English, biology, art, etc.— our program admits students with diverse backgrounds. Students admitted without a background in accounting and/or business will be required to take prerequisite courses in those areas before enrolling for graduate accounting courses, but we will work closely with you to ensure you understand those requirements.
Earn your master’s degree on a full-time or part-time schedule
Applications are accepted throughout the year Students are admitted in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters and can choose to study full- or part-time, in the evening. The length of the program varies depending on how much accounting and business administration background.
