Brief Biography - Dianne Neal
Dianne Neal is executive vice president and chief financial officer for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc., the parent company of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company, Inc. She is also executive vice president and chief financial officer for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.
Dianne joined R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1988 as coupon redemption center prepare/process manager. In 1989 she was named manager for marketing financial services. Between 1991 and 1994 she held the positions of financial manager for budgeting and analysis; financial manager for the Vantage/More/NOW business unit; and financial manager for the Winston/Camel business unit. In 1994 Dianne was promoted to director of financial planning and accounting and, in 1997, was promoted to vice president and controller. In 1999, she was promoted to vice president of investor relations. She assumed her current positions in June 2003.
Dianne is a board member of Southern Community Bank and Trust and a Business Advisory Board member at UNCG's Bryan School of Business and Economics.
Prior to joining Reynolds Tobacco, Dianne held accounting positions with Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem.
A native of Charleston, SC , she earned both her bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in business administration from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dianne and her husband, Ched '79, have two sons.
