UNCG Bryan School Appoints New Members to Advisory Board

GREENSBORO – Nine Triad professionals have been appointed and three members have been re-appointed to the advisory board of the Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

The board serves as an advisory group to Dean James K. Weeks on ways the Bryan School can better meet the needs of the Triad’s business and professional community. It also informs the business and professional community about the capabilities of the school and assists in developing funding priorities and strategies for the school.
The new members, whose three-year terms began March 1, are:

  • Kathy Bowman Atkins: President, The Latitude Group, Greensboro
  • Robert T. Braswell: President and CEO, Carolina Bank, Greensboro
  • Robert Buck: President, Liberty Hardware Manufacturing, Winston-Salem
  • Phil Johnston: Chairman and CFO, GET Interactive, Inc., Winston-Salem
  • R. Paul Kress, Jr.: Regional President, Commercial Markets, RBC Centura Bank, Greensboro
  • Jim Morgan: Partner, Morgan, Herring, Morgan, Green, Rosenblutt & Gill, LLP, High Point
  • Katherine Pappa: Global Director, Custom Solutions, Center for Creative Leadership, Greensboro
  • John Rich: Managing Director, Stanford Group Company, Greensboro
  • Patricia Soenksen: President and CEO, Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, Greensboro

Re-appointed members are:

  • J. Cantey Alexander: Regional President, Triad Region BB&T, Winston-Salem
  • Jim Arnold: President, Founder & CTO, APEX Analytix, Greensboro
  • Kelly Starkey, Eastern U.S. Regional President, WR Starkey Mortgage, Greensboro
