Profile
Jennifer Yurchisin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She earned a PhD in Textiles and Clothing from Iowa State University. Her MA and BS are both from the University of Minnesota.

Her research interests center around issues of identity and consumption. Her work has been published in many journals, including Clothing & Textiles Research Journal; International Journal of Consumer Studies; and Social Behavior and Personality. She has also presented her work at the annual meetings of several organizations, including the Association for Consumer Research; the American Collegiate Retailing Association; the Society for Consumer Psychology; and the International Textile and Apparel Association.

Jennifer has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate level, including consumer behavior, fashion history, retail strategy, and advertising and promotion. She is currently teaching a course in global sourcing.
