GREENSBORO – The 2007 Bryan School of Business and Economics graduating class presented a class gift of $2,141 to the Bryan School.
The gift was presented to Dr. James K. Weeks, dean of the Bryan School, on Thursday, April 26, at a ceremony at the Bryan School attended by faculty, students and staff.
The gift will be used to redesign and refurbish the auditorium lobby of the Bryan School. The class gift was matched by a $1,100 gift from the Bryan School Business AdvisoryBoard.
"The Board is honored to be a partner with the class gift committee and congratulate them on their success,” said Hoyt Phillips, chair of the board and president of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. “We all look forward to seeing these outstanding soon-to-be graduates of the Bryan School continue to make a positive impact through their professional careers and leadership activities in the community."
“This was an exceptional group of students who stood up to the challenge,” said Pam Cash, assistant dean of the Bryan School and advisor to the class gift committee. "This class gift committee was a team of leaders with each contributing valuable and unique skills to make the group stronger."
