Course ParticipationIn order to take this course you must be a participant in the Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program. To be selected for participation in this program you need to attend a presentation on a college campus and interview with the Disney recruiter. For a list of presentations at colleges in the U.S. go to Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program and follow the student links.On-site Faculty Visits During the semester, your instructors (and other Bryan School faculty) may periodically come to meet in groups as well as individually with students to review academic progress, work with the Disney Education Team, and discuss worksite performance. Grading/Evaluation BUS 230: "Applied Business Concepts" requires: (1) completion of journal assignments (2) completion of one of the following Disney Collegiate Educational Experiences: Corporate Communications, Experiential Learning, Advanced Studies in Hospitality, Human Resource Management, Organizational Leadership, Creativity and Innovation or Marketing You. Certain guidelines are provided to ensure that each student receives maximum benefit from this experience, and these guidelines are to be viewed as minimum requirements in order to qualify for successful completion of the course.
