The faculty of the economics department at UNC Greensboro produce a diverse body of research in fields such as labor economics, public economics, health economics, demography, science and technology, resource and energy economics, economic methodology, economic history, and urban economics.

The primary emphasis of research is applied microeconomics which supports the focus of our PhD program in public, labor, health, and environmental economics.
