
The Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro honored more than two dozen graduating students for academic excellence, service and leadership at an awards ceremony in December. All were August or December graduates. The following honors were awarded:
Joseph M. Bryan Achievement and Leadership Award
The Joseph M. Bryan Achievement and Leadership Award recognizes graduating students for academic scholarship and leadership in the Bryan School, the university and the community.

Dean’s Service Award
The Dean's Service Award recognizes graduating students that have provided exemplary service to the Bryan School, the university and the community.

Outstanding Graduate Student
This award recognizes graduating students who have enriched the Bryan School's learning environment through their professional and service activities and their support of other students.

Academic Excellence Medals
Academic Excellence Medals are awarded to undergraduate students who are in the top five percent of their graduating class and have a 3.9 GPA in their business coursework. Graduate students honorees must maintain a 3.9 cumulative GPA.

Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest scholastic honor for business students at an institution accredited by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The society was established to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and to foster personal and professional excellence among its members.

The Bryan School is the largest of UNCG’s seven professional schools with 400 graduate students and 2,200 undergraduates.
