To accommodate the schedules of our students who are working full-time, appointments between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, and/or phone meetings can be scheduled, as needed.

Darlene provides career coaching to MBA, MSITM, and certificate program students and alumni. Darlene's goal is to help students reach their career goals, whether they're looking for an internship while in school, seeking full-time employment upon graduation, seeking advancement in their current career field, or considering a career change. In addition, Darlene develops relationships with employers and focuses on learning about the employers' hiring needs and how our students can help with meeting their hiring needs. Our office goal is to be a resource and create connections between our students, alumni, and employers.

As part of university career services, Linda provides career counseling/coaching to all undergraduate Bryan School students, as well as MSA, MA in Applied Economics, and Ph.D. students. She also provides assistance to alumni of these programs up to 6 months after graduation. Linda has worked in banking, event planning, public relations, and various nonprofits and thoroughly enjoys coming alongside students to equip them in their career plan. She is available for appointments on any career-related needs including self-assessment, career exploration, choosing a major, career decision making, resume/cover letter writing, internship/job search assistance, interview preparation and mock interviews, graduate school applications, using SpartanCareers and other online resources, etc.

Bret delivers support to MBA, MSITM, and certificate program students and alumni. As a Career Advisor, he is responsible for providing guidance to students with regard to multiple aspects of their professional career, coordinating departmental events, facilitating employer relations, and maintaining the efficient use of online department resources. He brings more than 15 years of business experience to the department, including his last 4 years in student advisement and professional development.

Scheduling a Meeting with a Career Counselor:
Please log into your SpartanCareers account to request an appoinment. If you have questions or need assistance with scheduling an appointment, please call (336) 256-0390 or stop by 301 Bryan.

Drop-In Hours: Drop-in hours are available for students who have quick career related questions.They are held during the fall and spring semesters. Drop-In Hours are cancelled during the summer.

MBA, MSITM, and Certificate Program Students and Alumni:
Drop-in hours with Darlene Broadhurst are held on Wednesdays from 10:00am-12:00pm in 301 Bryan.

Undergraduate, MSA, MA in Applied Economics, and Ph.D. Students: Schedule an appointment with Linda Pollock by logging into SpartanCareers and requesting a time on her calendar. In addition, the Career Services Center in the EUC (near Subway) provides career guidance 9:00am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday, during the Fall and Spring semester.
