The job search resources provided are designed to help you jump start your search by giving you access to opportunities that are already listed in the market. Since networking is the #1 way people find jobs, these resources will also help you identify people you can connect with for informational interviews.

In addition, having a resume and cover letter that market you well are critical to your job search success. Your resume and cover letter, often times, are what win you the interview. We offer some quick tips for developing professional, well written resumes and cover letters. And lastly, the interview wins you the job. SpartanCareers
is made available to you through our partnership with the UNCG Career Services Center. Bryan graduate students have access to job/internship listings and on-campus recruiting opportunities posted by employers targeting UNCG students. CareerBeam is an excellent for conducting industry and company research. If you're looking for companies in a certain industry, within a certain region, CareerBeam will provide you with a list of those companies for you to do further research on. Click here to access CareerBeam.

The Triad Employers list is a representative sample of some of the organizations in the area. For an updated list of top Triad employers, check out The Book of Lists for the Triad area and other cities where The Business Journal is published. This resource is no longer available through the online Library resources. Visit the Library to view The Book of Lists, or purchase The Book of Lists on The Business Journals web site.

Professional Organizations are an excellent source of job leads. Be sure to involve yourself in your local chapter of the professional organizations of your choice.  Most have their own web sites listing job opportunities at companies represented in the group, and many have announcements about new opportunities during the meeting.  Don’t forget the national parent of the local chapter – they often have extensive websites with national opportunities!
