Targeted Recruiting Service

Creating the Right Fit

Our Targeted Recruiting Service is a unique process among graduate business schools, designed to help you find the right talent to perform well in your unique culture. To the extent that we understand your organization, know your people, and are aware of your business goals, we can add real value by helping you find the right talent to help your organization succeed.

Here’s how our Targeted Recruiting service works:

Understanding Your Organization:

  • Meet with our Director of Graduate Career Services or our Director of Internship Programs on your site to let us know about your current and future recruiting needs. Work with us to focus on those opportunities aligned with the career interests of our students. Guide us on a brief site tour.
  • Help us learn about your organization. What are the values and mission of your organization and how have they changed over time? What are the characteristics of people in the organization who have recently been promoted? How are business decisions really made, and how do the most important things get accomplished? What are the opportunities and challenges that you currently face?
  • Provide us access to other managers as appropriate. Many organizations have strong sub cultures, and getting to know these managers will help us better understand your organization and provide the right talent.

Sourcing the Talent:

  • If you have a current position available, we are required to list the position on our internal posting system, where we can target students by qualifications, education and experience.
  • After posting, we will contact students whose Career Assessments indicate they may be a good fit with your need and the culture of your organization to talk about the position and inquire about their interest. If we do not have an assessment on file for a given student, we will require both assessment and an internal interpretation of the assessment with the student before passing along your contact information.
  • We will stay in contact with you regarding our conversations with students and check with you regarding which students you would like to contact you. From there, we hand the process over to you and the student to follow your hiring process.

Follow Up:

  • Stay in close contact with us and give us feedback. Let us know by email or phone when you have an upcoming talent need. Tell us how we are doing and what we can do to be more effective in serving you.
  • Meet with us in person periodically to review results and plan for your future needs. Don't forget to let us know if you hire someone
