In what ways has Bryan Graduate Career Services been most helpful to you during your time in the graduate program?

The services that the Bryan School Bryan Career Services and Internship Programs Office have provided have been invaluable to me during my MBA program. From the beginning, this office has been a resource for me, from questions about my resume, to how to find an internship and even how to properly eat with potential employers. Not only has the office been a resource, but also a support tool. By providing employer spotlights, mock interviews and resume workshops, the Graduate Career Services office has provided me with many tips and techniques that I can use in my future career endeavors.

I would recommend to anyone to use the services that are provided by this office. It will make your experience at the Bryan School a success.  Bryan Graduate Career Services has been very influential and essential in my success as an MBA student. Not only has the office provided me with constant support and resources, but it has given me a foundation to grow from. Because of the efforts of this office, I got the perfect co-op internship. I still had to put in the effort and hard work to get it, but Darlene and the office provided me with the tools necessary to succeed. The value-added benefits that this office has given to me are priceless. Without the continued support and effort from this office, I can honestly say, that my MBA career would not have been as successful as it has.

What career related tips or advice would you give to other graduate students or prospective students?

My number one piece of advice is to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented. University offices, such as Career Services, provide many chances for students to learn, to develop and to grow. School is not only about learning from the books but also learning from the experiences. Programs and offerings that are available are there for the students to use. Take advantage of the services that you are given because they truly are a gift.
