UNCG Economics Professor Co-Authors New Book on Entrepreneurship


GREENSBORO – Dr. Albert N. Link, professor of Economics at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a representative to the United Nations Commission for Europe, is the co-author of the book “Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technological Change.”

Dr. Donald S. Siegel, professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Riverside Palm Desert Graduate Center and associate dean for graduate studies at the University of California-Riverside, is the co-author.

The book, published by Oxford University Press, presents a reader-friendly analysis and synthesis of the key approaches in economics and management as they relate to innovation, entrepreneurship and technological change.

The book provides definitions and historical examples of innovative technologies drawn from different sectors of the economy. It also includes a systematic analysis and synthesis of interdisciplinary literature on technology commercialization and entrepreneurship at universities, research parks and incubators. ###

Dr. Albert N. Link, professor of Economics at the Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, is to serve on a United Nations Commission. Link will be the U.S. representative on the U.N. Economic Commission for Europe where he will join a team of experts to evaluate the innovation and competitiveness policies of the European Union. He will also be the spokesperson for U.S. innovation policy.
