Student ID Cards

All incoming students are encouraged to visit the ID center in order to get their UNCG FirstCard Plus.

The ID center is located in the 121 Elliot University Center (EUC) and is operational Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Students must have "Proof of Registration" (e.g. - printout of class schedule from UNCGenie or paid bill) and a picture ID. International student should present their passport as a form of picture ID.

Health Insurance Requirement:

UNCG students in degree programs, who are taking 6 or more credit hours, must be able to demonstrate proof of health insurance to avoid a required health insurance premium on their account. More information

Laptop Requirement:

Laptops will be required for all NEW students AND students taking MBA 701.
