Day MBA Base Camp
Fairly intense, the special orientation program for full-time day Bryan MBA students is aptly named " Base Camp." Base Camp is an official evaluation and assessment period, where students can determine the individual traits and inclinations that influence their future development as leaders.
The results and feedback you receive during Base Camp will prove very valuable to your future education. Hence, we strongly encourage every student to participate. Students participate in computer sessions, review and analyze the library's business reference materials, and work with databases to gather information about themselves and their learning styles.
Students will also have the important opportunity to meet other newly admitted students as well as some of the faculty members who will be teaching your courses. Dress should be business attire for the first day; business casual is fine for the remaining days. Some light refreshments and meals will be provided. Complete details, along with RSVP information, will be included in your packet.
Evening MBA, MSITM, MSA, MSN/MBA, MS in Gerontology/MBA,
Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Certificate Orientation

You will also have the opportunity to meet several faculty members, network with other students, and ask any questions you may have. Dress will be business casual and lunch will be provided. Complete details, along with RSVP information, will be included in your packet.
Recommended Excel Workshop
MBA 701 makes extensive use of spreadsheets, and as a result anyone planning to take this course should consider completing the Excel Workshop.
The Proficiency Workshop covers Excel from a basic through advanced level. It meets in two sessions and attendance to both is suggested. There will also be homework assignments that must be completed.
If you have limited experience with Excel or just need a review course, please consider attending the Excel Workshop held in Bryan 221.
