New Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and ResearchThe Bryan School of Business and Economics welcomes Dr. Joyendu Bhadury as the new Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Research. As associate dean, Dr. Bhadury will work to identify external funding sources and to administer the grant application processes in support of the sponsored research activities of the Bryan faculty. He will also work closely with the graduate program directors to facilitate and to foster graduate business education at UNCG. For the past eight years, Dr. Bhadury has been on the faculty at California State University East Bay where he currently serves as the chair for the Department of Management in the College of Management and Economics. Prior to Cal State East Bay, Bhadury was a faculty member at SUNY Buffalo, University of New Brunswick, and a visiting research scholar at Purdue University. He holds a PhD in management science from the University of Texas at Dallas and his undergraduate degree is in electronics and telecommunication engineering from the Institute of Technology, Benares Hindu University in India. Over the course of his academic career, Bhadury has published over forty articles, mostly in peer-reviewed journals and has taught over twenty courses, ranging in level from undergraduate lectures to doctoral seminars. He has also taught regularly in executive MBA programs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Austria, and the United States. Dr. Bhadury will officially join UNCG on July 1. -April 2007 |
