Dr. Ruth King Receives Fellowship from Boeing

Bryan MBA professor, Dr. Ruth King, received a 2008 Boeing Welliver Faculty Fellowship. King is one of nine professors nationwide who were honored with the award. The fellowship, which runs from June to August, matches faculty with mentors from Boeing. The approach is to expose a small number of professors to key elements of the business realities of the industrial workplace by enabling them to “look over the shoulder” of working professionals. It also provides faculty with a better understanding of the practical industry applications of their areas of academic expertise.
