In an effort to increase the educational collaboration with China and the world’s most rapidly developing economy, James Weeks, Dean of the Bryan School of Business and Economics, served on a UNCG delegation to visit China’s top universities. The purpose of the trip was to develop cooperative agreements with several Chinese universities to promote student and faculty exchanges and joint research and teaching activities. China has become increasingly prominent in its relationship with traditional North Carolina industries, including furniture and textiles. The Graduate Programs Office at the Bryan School estimates that it will enroll as many as fifteen Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese students into the MBA for the upcoming academic year. |
