Plant tours are a regular part of the Bryan MBA experience. Visits normally include presentations, facility tours, and meetings with top-ranking officials. The site visits give students the opportunity to observe operations and the exercise encourages a deeper understanding of business operations by putting students in the shoes of business leaders. After the facility tours, students write strategic analyses on topics such as facility location and layout, performance measurement, and uses of technology.
Recent visits this academic year have included Qualicaps and Longwood Elastomers. Qualicaps is a producer of pharmaceutical and dietary supplements and Longwood Elastomers manufactures rubber and plastic specialty products. Click below to view a slideshow of the tours.
