Employer Spotlight Series Off to Quick Start

Bryan Graduate Career Services kicked off its Employer Spotlight Series during the second week of the fall semester with BB&T. A standing room only crowd of students turned out to learn more about BB&T and the company’s Leadership Development Program. For MBA students who were unable to attend the BB&T session, their recruiters will be back on campus on Wednesday, September 26 for the Fall Career Fair and Tuesday, October 23 for on-campus interviews. Other organizations visiting campus this fall as part of the Employer Spotlight Series include VF Corporation, AIG United Guaranty, and Novant Health. In other career-related news, 88% of the day MBA students who graduated in May accepted position offers within 3 months of the Spring Commencement. The remaining 12% are either continuing for an advanced degree or their employment status is unknown. The majority of the graduates stayed in North Carolina and Virginia with a few of the newly minted Bryan MBA alumni going to Atlanta, the Midwest, and Europe.
