The Bryan MBA program warmly welcomes distinguished health administration expert, Dr. Eric Ford, to the Bryan School of Business and Economics. Dr. Ford will hold a joint appointment with the School of Nursing and is the Forsyth Medical Center Distinguished Professor of Healthcare Management.

His expertise is in health information technology and health policy and his research has earned him numerous awards from the Academy of Management. His teaching interests include strategic management, health administration, research methods, and health program evaluation.

Dr. Ford joins the Bryan School from the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University where he served as the Rawls Professor of Healthcare Organization Management and the Director of the Center for Healthcare Innovation, Education and Research.

Dr. Ford was awarded his PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds a MPH from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s from Cornell University.
