Bryan MBA Students Win the 2007 Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper Competition

Dean Hutchins and Bernard de Neeve, Bryan MBA students in the evening program, took first place at the graduate level of the Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper competition sponsored by the APICS Education and Research Foundation. As part of winning the national award, they also received a $1,000 prize for their research.

Their paper, Capacity Planning in the Semiconductor Industry: Challenges and Opportunities at RF Micro Devices, was one of three papers submitted by Bryan MBA students that won at the Piedmont Triad Chapter level. This is the second straight year that Bryan MBA students have swept at the chapter level and advanced to the regional level and the fourth time that Bryan MBA students have taken first place at the national level. Past Bryan MBA winners at the national level are Yoshitaka Shimakawa (2003), Kimberly McClintock (2001), and Joel Hambrick & Ronnie Mann, Jr. (1994).

Congratulations to Dean and Bernard.
