Congratulations to the following thirty-five students from the evening program who were awarded their MBA degrees at the Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, December 14, 2006: Oluwaseyi Adu *Degrees completed in August 2006. As the 2006 recipient of UNCG’s Alumni Teaching Excellence Award, MBA Program Director, Dr. Vidyaranya Gargeya was the commencement speaker. His address - Pizza, Picasso, and the Pyramids: The Journey to Excellence Continues! – made the commencement exercise extra memorable for this group of MBA graduates. At the Bryan School’s Awards and Recognition Ceremony the previous evening, MBA graduates Robert A. Arends, Edward Fowlkes, Shelly Peterson, and Peter Rolland were inducted as new members of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Robert Kelly, who had his MBA studies interrupted when he was called to serve in Iraq, received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. -January 2007 |
