Dr. Kevin Lowe Named Top 30 Mover & Shaker

Bryan MBA faculty member, Dr. Kevin Lowe was selected as a recipient of Business Leader magazine’s Movers & Shakers Award. Dr. Lowe was one of thirty business leaders in the Triad who were honored at the annual award ceremony held on September 15, 2008 at the Airport Marriott. Selected from a pool of approximately 400 nominations, Dr. Lowe will also be featured in the September Issue of Business Leader magazine.

Dr. Lowe has received several teaching awards and has given more than 30 conference papers. His research on human resource management, leadership, and cross-cultural management has appeared in numerous academic journals including The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business, and the Journal of Leadership Studies.

Dr. Lowe currently serves as the head of the Department of Business Administration where he is overseeing initiatives to expand the curriculum in the areas of entrepreneurship and healthcare administration. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Lowe worked for several years in Fortune 500 firms.
