300 Bryan MBA alumni, students and faculty, along with friends and family, turned out at New Bridge Bank Park to watch the Greensboro Grasshoppers take on the Delmarva Shorebirds. The outing, held on Friday, May 1, was timed to coincide with the last day of classes for the spring semester. Parth Shah, an international student from India, had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. ![]() Billy Shue, who graduated in 2008 and is now with Wachovia drove up from Charlotte to take in the game the evening before running the North Carolina Marathon in High Point which he completed in under 3 ½ hours. “A couple of classmates had other engagements, but otherwise my entire class came out for the ballgame,” says Mike Morrison who is pursuing an MBA/MS in Gerontology dual degree. “It was a nice opportunity for all of us to get together outside of the classroom, drink a few beers and just relax.” -May 2009 |
