Greensboro, NC – UNCG’s Bryan School of Business and Economics will launch four new online programs during the 2009-10 academic year. Three of the programs are twelve credit hour, post-baccalaureate certificates in 1) Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation Management, 2) Information Technology, and 3) Information Assurance, Security and Privacy.

These certificates provide the latest thinking and practices in two high demand areas of the local and national economies. These online certificates require no prior academic or professional experience in supply chain or information technology and can be completed in as little as two semesters of part-time study.

The fourth online program is the BS-BA Business Studies Online which is a degree completion program intended for transfer and returning students. The program, which is an online version of the Bryan School’s most popular major, will allow location-bound and time-constrained students the opportunity to earn an AACSB International accredited business degree. The program’s objective is to prepare students for the 21st Century global economy by providing a broad exposure to all of the functional areas of business along with a global perspective that is prevalent in all of the courses.

All four programs will be formally initiated in the Fall 2009 semester and can be completed entirely online. Prospective students interested in applying for the BS-BA Business Studies Online program who meet the pre-admission requirements may begin their coursework for the online degree completion this summer session which begins on May 20, 2009.
