Kalpesh Padhye: Senior Research Analyst with Frost & Sullivan

2009 Bryan MBA graduate, Kalpesh Padhye has joined Frost & Sullivan’s Mumbai office. As a senior research analyst for the global growth partnership company, Kalpesh is working on market research and consulting projects for the automation and process control industry in South Asia and the Middle East.

Kalpesh graduated from the prestigious University of Mumbai in 2005 with a bachelor’s in electronic engineering. After two years with Siemens, he joined the Bryan Day MBA.

“I was looking for an MBA program that offered the flexibility to choose a field of concentration and that was within my budget. The Bryan MBA’s structure along with a tuition waiver and fellowship made my decision to come to UNCG an easy one,” says Kalpesh, who as an MBA student, received the Academic Excellence Award given to exceptional international students and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.

During his two years in the full-time, day program, Kalpesh was on MBA teams that 1) developed a business plan for the Center for Innovation in Interior Architecture, 2) developed a strategic marketing plan for Aha Bottled Water, and 3) for a capstone consulting project, developed a sustainability plan for The North Carolina Center for Viticulture and Enology. After graduating in May 2009, Kalpesh remained in the United States for an additional three months for an internship with Southside Business Technology Center in Martinsville, Virginia.

“The internship, consulting project, and other real-world course projects were the best components of the Bryan MBA program. These real world experiences allowed me to apply the tools and concepts learned in the MBA courses to real-world projects.”

“What I like most about the Bryan MBA is that we have students from all over the world in the program. Classes are small and that allows us to engage in open discussions. I learned so much about business in other cultures during my first year because of the interaction with my international classmates.”
