Thinking about law School? :

You might want to consider majoring in Business!

While the practice of law itself remains a profession, running a law firm requires a well-grounded understanding of business principles. If a career in law is in your future plans, you should consider majoring in Business Administration/Business Studies Concentration with a Pre-law focus. Eloise Hassell is the Bryan School Pre-Law Adviser and she knows the "ins and outs" of planning for law school. She has many Bryan School student success stories to relate. She will help you plan a Career Profile that meets the requirements for the Business Administration major and, at the same time, it will provide you with needed knowledge for success in a law school.

Contact Ms. Hassell at this web address www.uncg.edu/bae/people/hassell or call her at 334-4535. Her office is Room 373 Bryan. She offers the Legal Environment of Business course (MGT 330) which is a comprehensive overview of essential legal basics (appropriate for all majors).
