Editor in Chief

Dr. Prashant Palvia is professor of MIS and Ph.D. Director in the ISOM department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro . Dr. Palvia is recognized internationally for his pioneering work and expertise in Global Information Technology. He has co-edited three books on Global Information Technology, the latest being "Global Information Technology and Electronic Commerce", by Ivy League Publishing, 2002. He has published over seventy journal articles, many of them being in global information technology. He has been the conference chair of the annual Global Information Technology Management World Association conferences since 2000; the next one being held in Atlanta, Georgia, June 22, 23 & 24, 2008.

Professor Palvia was the founding editor of the Journal of Global Information Management and edited it for five years. This journal JGITM is now the leading journal in Global IT. It maintains the successful strategies of the previous journal and has implemented several new innovations (e.g., higher emphasis on quality, global associate editors, and a broader international coverage).
