GREENSBORO – End-of-year awards were presented to graduating students in the Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The honors were presented during the school’s diploma ceremony during commencement weekend.
Jessica Dickerson, an undergraduate student from Colfax, received the 2007 Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award, which is the highest honor that can be given to a graduating senior or graduate student from the Bryan School.
Achievement and Leadership Awards recognize students for their superior personal achievement, leadership and service to the school, university and community. Undergraduates must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and graduate students must have a 3.5 average.

The Bryan School Medal for Academic Excellence is awarded to graduating
baccalaureate students with a grade point average of 3.90 or better in
coursework completed within the Bryan School and who finish in the top five
percent of Bryan School graduates in their class. Graduate students must
achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 in their program of study.
