On December 4th, 2004 eight teams of undergraduate marketing students competed in the fall 2004 BB&T Marketing Game Challenge. The teams were invited to the challenge because they secured one of the top spots in the Marketing Game Competition held in their section of MKT 320 (Principles of Marketing).
The Marketing Game Challenge is a computer simulated competition where teams of students make product, distribution, pricing, and promotion decisions for a fictional company; competing with other teams to earn the highest net income for their respective company.
The fall 2004 winning team members were Andrea Baldwin, Eric Hunter, Paul Noah and Eric Whitten. Each student took home $100 in prize money. The second place team of Donna Brady, Stefanie Cox, Amy Massey, Ryan Patterson and Yah Shi each took home $50 in prize money.
In addition to a free t-shirt for participating, all teams in the competition spent the day networking with Mr. Tim Davis, Senior Vice President for Human Services at BB&T and a Bryan alum. BB&T generously sponsored the Marketing Game Challenge in conjunction with the Bryan School Business Administration Department.
