Air Traffic at the Piedmont-Triad International Airport

Retail sales totaled $1,160.7 million in March.  Corrected for inflation and seasonal variation, retail spending was up 0.4% from February and was higher by 0.5% from March of last year.  Employment in retail trade rose 0.3% in March and was up 3.0% over the past 12 months.

Cargo shipments from the Piedmont Triad International Airport were off 0.7% in March but are higher by 2.6% since March of last year.  Passenger boardings were up 0.1% this month but are down 4.7% over the past 12 months.
