• Davis Lumpkin, Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities, has announced his retirement as of August 31, 2008.
  
  We will be losing a talented colleague who has served this campus for more than 27 years and the UNC system for almost 37 years. The transformation of the physical appearance and condition of our campus during his tenure here is remarkable, to say the least.
