We offer an M.S. degree in biology. Students work with a faculty mentor to complete a thesis research project relevant to environmental health science. Department strengths lie in the areas of ecology, evolution, and cell/molecular biology. Some of our graduates have gone on to research positions at universities, governmental agencies, or in industry. Others have gone on to teaching positions at all levels, and some have continued their education leading to a more advanced degree or professional training.
