Biology Undergrad Brandon Ore receives M. Russell Harter Award for Scientific Research

UNCG Biology major Brandon Ore was awarded the M. Russell Harter Award for Scientific Research at the UNCG Excellence Day ceremony on May 6, 2009. The award, which carries a stipend of $1,000, recognizes outstanding achievement in research in the sciences by a UNCG undergraduate student. Brandon's research has been done in the lab of Dr. Alice Haddy, associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UNCG.
