Biology Undergrad Kristen Perez receives NCBC Fellowship

UNCG Biology major Kristen Perez has been awarded a North Carolina Biotechnology Center Undergraduate Biotechnology Research Fellowship in the amount of $5000. Kristen, a senior pursuing a BS in Biology with a concentration in biotechnology, will be working this summer and fall semesters on the project, entitled "A Genetic Screen for Cellular Targets of Naringenin, a Potent Anti-Proliferative Agent Enriched in Citrus Fruits".
