Peabody Park Preservation Committee Wins Award
Greensboro Beautiful Inc. awarded its '2010 School Award' to the Peabody Park Preservation Committee for its efforts in preserving Peabody Park woods. UNCG has been named as the first 'Tree Campus USA' member in the 17-school UNC system. Dr. Elizabeth Lacey accepted the award on behalf of the committee.
